Below is a letter I received from a long-time friend of Our Friends. It eloquently invites each of us to share a dream of life with this living Gaea-Earth. Kia Ora! Greetings from Dunedin, New Zealand!
I’ve been inspired by my Circle of Ancient Ones and Masters to create a celebration for this coming Sunday, 10/10/10. A group of us will be gathering on a beautiful little farm that lies on the rim of an ancient volcano to celebrate new beginnings and the Dawning of the Age of Reverence. We will be singing to the Earth, honoring all of her elements and life forms.
I invite you all wherever you may be around the world to take time to join us. Stop for a bit at 10:10 am (your time) to connect, commune and honor the Earth in all her many faces and forms.
Years ago, during a workshop with Brooke Medicine Eagle, she spoke about how the Ancestors were telling her how important it is to hold the Golden Dream – the highest, most wonderful vision of life that you can possibly imagine, because whatever dream you are holding is the one that will create the life events that you experience and form path that you will then find yourself upon.
When I last visited the Big Island, I was blessed with an opportunity to meet with Kumu Keala Ching. During our conversation he spoke about having to choose your world and find your place within it.
I choose to be in the world that is based upon, founded upon, love and reverence for the Earth as a living, breathing being and am finding my place within that. My Golden Dream is that I am sharing a beautiful, healthy Earth with other humans that hold the same dream. We are creating it moment by moment with awareness for the interconnectedness and interdependence of all members of the entire Web of Life.
I would love it if you would sing the Earth and her wonderful life forms in your part of the world, in your gardens, in your backyards and give them my love as well as your own.
